Cognera Harness

One language for every agent.

Cognera Harness is the shared foundation of our tools. It recommends the right agent for each task and never lowers quality without telling you.

Foundation

A shared foundation for standalone tools.

The tools also work on their own. Harness gives them a shared vocabulary and recommendations it can explain.

A routing preview in Harness: tasks from Bellows, Forge, and Temper by type of work.

Picking the agent and checking the result.

  • A failed attempt raises the quality bar.

Repeated attempts at the same task: after a failed verification, Harness raised the required quality.
  • Decided before the work starts.

The Harness decision before the first attempt: recommended, standard quality, and two of 14 options qualify.

From task to verified result.

  1. The task description.

Every tool describes its work with the same vocabulary.

A routing plan in Harness: tasks from Bellows, Forge, and Temper described by the same fields, complexity, required quality, and reason.
  2. A recommendation with a reason.

Harness picks an agent and a quality level, and says why.

The Harness recommendation for a test run in Temper: recommended, with the reasons why standard quality is enough for the task.
  3. Checking the result.

The result is verified before the work continues.

Another attempt in Harness: the result of the first attempt failed verification (verifier_failed), so the second attempt requires higher quality.
  4. The next attempt aims higher.

After a failed verification, it raises the required quality.

Three attempts at the same task in Harness: after failed verifications, the required quality rose from standard to high and then to critical.

What you can count on.

  • The tools also work without it.

  • Every decision can be explained afterward.

The whole workshop speaks one language.
