Bellows

Checks what makes sense to build.

Bellows at work.

Cards with claims lie on a glass bench in front of the bellows. On a tablet, Bellows checks a source from the web, and the line “Every claim has a source.” appears above the bench. The bellows breathe out once, and the hypothesis cards that nothing backs fly off. Only the backed claims stay. A person then accepts the idea and writes why. At the end, the name Bellows appears.

Bellows looks for what’s worth building. It backs ideas with verified sources, and when it finds nothing, it says so plainly.

Bellows

Every claim has a source.

Research runs in several directions at once. Bellows checks citations right at the source, and in the end a person decides on the idea.

Evidence for an idea in Bellows: for each source, its title, a verified citation, and an assessment of whether it supports the claim.

What you get from the research.

  • An accepted idea becomes a ready spec.

An accepted idea in Bellows: the decision Accepted with its reason, and the button to export the spec.
  • It shows weak spots too.

The case against the proposal: the arguments against the idea.

From idea to decision.

  1. Describe the idea.

Or pick a repository you want to improve.

New research in Bellows: you only need to describe the idea in the field asking what you want to explore, and you can pick a repository in the advanced settings.
  2. Research in several directions.

Tasks run in parallel, and you can pause and steer them.

Research in Bellows: the progress from preparation to assessing the opportunities, and two agents, each with its own topic.
  3. Citations checked at the source.

Every claim leads to the source it comes from.

Evidence from the web for an idea in Bellows: for each citation, its verification status, whether it supports the claim, and an excerpt from the source.
  4. The case against it.

Every proposal also comes with reasons to drop it.

The case against the proposal in Bellows: the arguments against the idea, and a business hypothesis with the condition for stopping the plan.
  5. A decision with a reason.

Accept, watch, or reject. An accepted idea is exported as a spec for Anvil.

A decision on an idea in Bellows: accepted with a reason, saving the decision, and exporting the finished spec.

What you can count on.

  • Zero opportunities is a valid result.

  • A person always decides on an idea.

Build what makes sense.
